Vimianzo. Do mar á terra.

The old Camino Real (royal path) connects Piroga and Ponte Oliveira. It is said that it was used by pilgrims travelling to Santiago from Camariñas.

Almost nothing is left of the original path due to the consolidation of land into larger parcels.

But on the current trail, you can find the stone cross of Cruceiro dos Santos, one of the oldest in Galicia (13th century).

There is an image of Christ on the cross on one side and of the Virgin in a praying position on the other.
