Pazo de Trasariz

Close to the Castle of Vimianzo, and outside the town centre, is the palace of Pazo de Trasariz, also known as Casa Señorial dos Caamaño (Caamaños’ stately home) ( +43° 6' 46" -9° 2' 0" ). ç

It is a beautiful estate where architecture and landscape come together. This is a large, outstanding house with a rectangular floor plan and a portico consisting of eight arches supported by columns with Doric capitals, a real gem of Galician stately architecture.

Its large balcony and huge fireplaces are impressive. On its north side, it has an attached Baroque chapel dating back to the 17th century, making it even more splendorous. Currently it is privately owned, so visitors are not allowed inside.
