6. Petroglyphs de Boallo

These petroglyphs (symbolic designs engraved on a rock surface) are of the circular type, the most characteristic of Galicia’s petroglyphs.

The drawings appear on the surface of an eroded granite rock rising up from the ground, located at the foot of two other sheltering stones. This remnant from over 4.000 years ago was only discovered in 1997 when a hunter sat down to rest on top of it (+43° 3’ 52” -9° 5’ 41” ).
