This is a Celtic castro located almost at the edge of Vimianzo town centre (+43° 7’ 8” -9° 2’ 8").
The site is fortified with an earthen wall surrounded by a ditch that served as a defence element to the inhabitants of the settlement.
Its uniqueness lies in that it is located in a valley, when usually this kind of settlements were located in hills or mountain slopes, to have a better view of possible attackers.
